  WalkingHorseChat is proud of its ability to seek and find great prospects from all over the walking horse industry and showcase and predict their success. Since this pages creation in 1991 we were proud to bring to the internet ,video and commentary of many WC horses including The Shock Jock, America On Line, Image of Ritz, WC I'm Richie Rich, RWC Springloaded Santana, WC Generator's Dixie Crystals, and once again WGC I'm Willie Wonka. In 2001 we were proud to be the first to call attention to Simply Thrilling, winner of the Two year old stallion class at the WHTA Trainers Show 2001, owned by The Arthur Gordon Family and broke by Bobby Hugh, shown by Allan Callaway. In January of 2001 our Freak of the Week was "The Super Bowl" owned by Dr. R and Pat Rigual and trained by David Landrum Stables presented and broke by Joe Cotten., who became to Two Year Old Grand Champion of the World. We discovered a horse named He's The Man who soon changed his name to I'm Willie Wonka and he went on in 2001 to be the Two Year Old Amateur World Champion, he is now owned by Janice Fostek and was broke by T. Tommy Allen and now trained by Mickey McCormick. These are just a few.

 

The "Freak of the Week" will be brought to you on a discovery basis and hopefully weekly. Click For Video"A Loose Woman" Sept 19th 2002, the property of Ford and Jane Gates of Hartselle, Alabama and trained by Bobo Farms' training team of Bill Bobo, Chris Bobo and Brandon Stout, appearing in this video with Brandon Stout aboard. She is by Pusher Busting Loose and out of a Generator mare. This mare was also started late for being rather small, but she has tons of talent as the video shows. She goes a lot like Bill Bobo's famed Pride's Nightmare, who was also this statue and had this kind of leg talent. 

 

"Busting Loose Filly" Sept 13th 2002, owned by Mr. and Mrs. Mike Stone and trained at Twin Hills Training Facility by Brian Brewer. This 2 yr old mare was started late because of her July birthday and as you can see from this video show is a classic example of a Freak of the Week. She is by Pusher Busting Loose and out of a Coins Hard Cash mare who is a half sister to Pride's Top Doll, the dam of Pusher's Doing Time...both mares being out of the great Triple Darling. She is shown in this video ridden by trainer Brian Brewer.

"Lady Masque" Sept 13th 2002, owned by Keith and Sandy Baker of Columbia, Tn and trained by Tony Yokley Stables in Etheridge, Tennessee. She is out of Lady Can Do, by Pusher's Doing Time and by 1998 WGC Masquerading. Her dam was a great show mare under the direction of Ernest Upton and never placed below second in her life before she was injured and retired. She was never able to show after her 2 yr old year for the injury. Her grand dam came from the same herd that produced Olympic's Energizer. This is truly a great prospect.

                  The Late "Touch Pushes On" MAY 6TH 2002- trained by Joel Woosley and is by WGC The Touch and out of a Pusher CG mare. This colt is an exciting addition to the freak of the week page and has seen limited showing and actual saddle time. Brock Tilman paid him a visit and took a little test drive and took this video for us. He is a clinical version of a Freak of the Week

  "Twisted Dollar" April 25th 2002-Owned by Bob Medina and trained by Jimmy McConnell at Formac Farms in Union City Tennessee. This two year old stud is by Generator's Silver Dollar and out of a Pusher's Twist About mare. To be campaigned in the open two year old division, Twisted Dollar has one of those old time front ends that is extremely exciting. He is seen in this video with trainer Jimmy McConnell riding.   "He's a Major Push" April 22nd 2002 owned by Rich and Karen Marriott and Sue Irby, this top colt is by WGC Gen's Major General, and out of a Pusher mare. He is trained by Vicki Self Stables in Lewisburg, Tennessee  and will be entered this season in open competition with Vicki Self riding. He has that great back end that all the MG colts carry.   "Pattern's Princess" UPDATED VIDEO March 27th 2002  This two year old filly, owned by Jeff Bronnenberg, trained and started at Black Hawk Farms.  This filly is by Pride's Pattern and out of Caretaker's Princess (dam of Extra Princess shown by Joel Weaver) Pattern's Princess is again exhibited in this video clip by trainer Justin Jenne'. 
  "Pineapple Willie" March 14th 2002  This I'm In Command  2 year old gelding is shown in this video clip with Black Hawk Farms' trainer Justin Jenne'.  Pineapple Willie is out of Cold Sparks (by Delight's Cold Ice) and was bred, raised and is trained at Black Hawk Farm in Shelbyville, Tennessee.  "Screaming Eagle" March 13th 2002  This Our American Eagle  colt is shown here with both trainers Gary Adams and Tony Yokley. This colt was started by Harold Curry and is owned by Kentucky's Keith Smith Family, currently in training at Tony Yokley Stables. This colt has had little work and has more individual talent than most of the studs we have seen this year. This is the type colt that will make my total sales above flip six figures. This stud colt was raised by Dickie Vinson and is trained at Tony Yokley Stables in Ethridge Tennessee. In this video this colt is putting on a flat walking clinic, and can step up, as you can see in the last part of the clip when Tony gets on.   "Buster's Rebel Rouser" Feb 28th 2002  Please take a look at this 2-yr old stud colt by Bustin' Loose out of a Delight of Pride mare.  His full sister won 3rd in the open 2 yr. old filly class last year at Celebration.   "Hytone's Grand Finale" Feb 10th 2002 This super video was sent in by Jay and Bridgyt Copley of Rogersville, Ala. This Hytone stud colt out of Generator's Gay Girl is trained by Jerry Collier of Rogersville, Ala.  Lady Hysteria January 9th 2002  This filly is by Hysteria and trained by Dick Peebles Stables at Twin Willow in Shelbyville, Tennessee. This filly was born with nothing but legs. She has a lot of blow and go and we just showed up at Dicks and took this ambush video. Hysteria if you all remember was ridden by Brandy Mills and made a tremendous performance several years at the trainers show. This is one of his off spring.

The Late I'm Richie Rich Dec 21st  2001  by The Skywatch out of a Pusher mare.  "Richie Rich" and raised by Rich and Karen Marriott as the first stud colt born at their Summer Winds Farm. He was started by Troy Richards and now is in training at Finish Line Farms under the direction on Rodney Dick, and riding in this video by former trainer Vicki Self.    Positivity Dec 18 2001  This is our first "mail in" video sent by trainer Buddy Mason, of Lynchburg Tennessee.  This tape was made with ONLY 37 days of actual saddle time. He is by Solidarity and out of a Generator mare, who was out of a Solidarity mare. Buddy says he has the nature of an aged horse. Pretty good reach for 37 days.
   

 
  Private Malone Dec 13th 2001  Our first flat shod "Freak of the Week" trained by Larry Derryberry, at the new Winner's Choice Stables at Twin Hills in Columbia, Tennessee. This aged gelding was once on pads and is now trained by Larry Derryberry and owned by Wayne Hall. Somebody needs to tell this horse he doesn't have the pads on anymore. This colt's grand dam was the dam of Multi WGC Mark's Bobbie Sue and Just Black Magic. He comes from the same mare line as WGC Ebony's Big Time, WGC Ebony's Misty Lady and WC Coin's Dixie Darling.
